Gold-Medal Olympic athlete, Bruce Jenner, created an overnight sensation when he appeared on the cover of the June 1, 2015 issue of “Vanity Fair” magazine. Shot in a corset by photographer Annie Leibovitz, Mr. Jenner, used this opportunity to promote his transgender switch to a woman named Caitlyn. Interestingly, his decision to pose as a woman was applauded by both sides of the aisle as a sign of political correctness and the magazine sold out in no time. I, for one, do not accept his deviant behavior and am appalled by his notoriety.
I believe Bruce has gone from hero to an unhealthy role model for youth. I doubt seriously the Wheaties people will be using him on their cereal boxes anytime soon. His celebrity will likely encourage others to follow in his footsteps.
I do not know what caused Mr. Jenner to make the “switch.” I suspect it is the immoral culture of Hollywood which led to it. Frankly, I do not care. Enough is enough. Just about everyone I know agrees, but are unwilling to rebuke his behavior in fear of being labeled “Socially Intolerant.”
You have heard me talk about tolerance in the past pertaining to religion and politics, but never on immoral behavior. I regard this as another indicator of the decline of our morality. No wonder the Muslim world laughs at us.
I understand all of this is being choreographed as a prelude to Mr. Jenner’s upcoming reality show on E! TV which will begin in July, where he will discuss his new life as a woman. I will not be watching.
I am more appalled by the public’s acceptance of all this; where is the condemnation? I guess this is just another example of the wussification of America.
And for those who claim I am not being politically correct on this subject. Frankly, I do not care. No, I will certainly not be referring to him as “Ms.” or “Caitlyn.” As far as I’m concerned, the man is lost. More disconcerting though, will America follow?

My own reaction is that 99% of mass media is trying to: unrealistically scare people, when most violent behavior is done by people the victims know; make people feel inferior, keeping up with the Jones; sell something of little value (“as seen on TV”) or belittle people of character (Tim, when are you having your operation?). So, you’re not buying the implied story, see, Mr. Jenner can afford to make himself a freak and now become rich as an on-TV-carnival-character. Come on, you can admit it. You’re just jealous.

He made his decision, but I had also read a medical article that exemplified the fact that many who opt for the transgender surgery seem to still suffer from depression, deeply so, and that a lot of thought and counseling should go into that decision before surgery is performed.

Jenner’s public gender switch only leads me to wonder what other warped form of behavior is lurking within this man who we revered for his abilities as an Olympic athlete. Today, like the Kardashians, he has no talent to gain celebrity other than this warped behavior. Given his so-called courage assigned by various media, maybe it would be a good idea if Jenner had his own kids’ show on Saturday afternoon television. Then all the “politically correct” parents out there could circle their kids around the television and let “Aunt Caitlyn” regale them with her adventures of transgender reality. In Hollywood, any publicity is “good publicity” according to the whores who live that life. Surely in is a place which will one day become a pillar of salt sitting on the horizon. I am with you, Tim.

“Thank you for being the voice of reason in a country filled with moral chaos. I applaud your courage to speak out on moral topics with common sense and scorn for the current liberal trash attitudes where anything goes. I agree that Jenner is a man. God made him a man and He does not make mistakes. I used to play dress up in my mother’s clothes, and wear costumes on Halloween, but I was still just a little girl pretending.
I cannot help but think of the money Jenner shelled out for this stunt and how many lives could have been saved in countries where thousands are starving and even in our country people are in need. I am not surprised that the magazine sold out, but I don’t see the purchasers as supporters of Jenner. Do you remember in 1971 when Playgirl Magazine printed the first ever nude male fold out of Burt Reynolds? I was working in an insurance company office and every young woman there wanted a look at that magazine. it, too, had sold out as soon as it hit the stands. The switchboard operator had one and was busy showing it all day. It did not bring down our society, but was a flash in the pan; a curiosity. I would not be surprised if copies of Jenner’s Vanity Fair issue are already being hawked on ebay for high prices. Other investors will hold onto their copies for bragging rights and collectible value. I wonder if the same would apply had a magazine published a cover with conjoined twins or a bearded lady?
I find this topic as distasteful as you do, but I think maybe the less interest we display, the sooner the flash will go out and perhaps sanity will reign. It reminds me of a naughty child trying to get attention or perhaps a flasher in the park. Ignore it. There is no point in playing to an empty house. I suspect that after an initial burst of attention to Jenner’s show, the house will be empty. If freak shows were common, they would not be considered freakish and tickets wouldn’t sell.

Totally agreed. But the same is happening to the Kardasians. I don’t even know what they are famous for except being rich and botoxing, lasoring, and changing their husbands once a year. I hate it that this political correctness had been planned for hears. I am editing a book for a man who was born just after WWII to Communist parents who both were school teachers. At that time schools were too old fashioned to indoctrinate tens of millions of kids as they are doing now, but he never heard either his parents or their party friends call themselves Communists, it was always leftist Progressives and voting Democrats. We hope the editing will at least be finished by the GOP nomination and boy, have I learned a lot. It is each to unmask a Communist who says he has left the Democratic Party, Let him give you an issue(it isn’t the issue, it is the lie of the issue) you give him truth/facts and watch him attack. And they attack not only in words, but as you saw with our Governor Perry, Now his parents say they are working on a one party system. Good luck with that one. But all of these Progressives are just that Communists, and I have read Karl Marx, both in Hebrew school and in philosophy class in college. For to know your enemy, you have to know his ways of getting his ways into the public eye. And they have to have handlers, scripted choreography, and lies, and many, many lies. P. The Jenner saga is a great representation of America today. “reality” is, whatever you want it to be. And if your neighbors do not agree with your reality, then they must be wrong. Every tool and resource is at your disposal, if you have the funds, to help you on your quest to alter your reality, be it surgery, medicines, therapy, or jumping on Oprah’s sofa.
The strangest thing about the whole situation is that, Bruce was the silent male for 20+years in a household full of narcissistic type A personality females. He was always in their shadows, far in the back, while they tried to dominate the airwaves with their latest fashion trends and cosmetic surgeries in order to redefine what ‘beauty’ is. And in the end, the most ‘natural’ looking female to come from the family ends up being their step-dad, who booted them all out of the limelight. Only in Holly wood.
On a side note, since Jenner once stated that she is a conservative Christian, the Republicans should put her on the Presidential ticket. Imagine the fun of having Hillary run against someone who she cannot talk bad about for fear of being cast as a hater of the LBGT crowd, and Hillary would be running against a man who looks better in a dress than she does.”

Of course, the radical Left is championing “Caitlyn” and making Jenner out to be a hero.
ESPN confirmed that Jenner is going to receive that network’s highest award next month. Time calls Jenner an “instant icon” and “revolutionary.” Disney/Pixar used its upcoming animated children’s movie, Inside Out, to show support for Jenner. And “Caitlyn” just became the fastest person ever to reach one million followers on Twitter (four hours).”
